NBA news: NBA will return $160 million owed to players
On Tuesday, the NBA will return the $160 million that it threatened to keep from players during labor negotiations last month.
The money is an escrow tax that comes out of players’ paychecks during the season.
It must be returned to ensure the players receive 57-per cent of all basketball-related income, which they’re entitled to under the previous collective bargaining agreement.
