Texans vs. Colts Week 11 Spread

Point spread for the week 11 NFL clash between the Houston Texans and the Indianapolis Colts plus the betting spreads, and betting trends for nfl football gambling…

NFL Betting Odds – Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Houston Texans take on the Indianapolis Colts in what almost assuredly should be a blow-out. The Texans start Sage Rosenfels again at quarterback. He just isn’t as good as Matt Schaub. Sports betting fans have to love how Rosenfels goes in there and then just gets absolutely pummeled by opposing defenses.

It makes picking a winner against the spread easy. The Texans have a lot of big names on their defense, but they don’t have that killer instinct on either defense or offense. They should be able to take it to the Colts early, though, but by halftime, the Colts might have this game out of reach.

Speaking of the Colts, can online betting fans think of a team that’s starting to heat up more than these guys? I mean, they beat the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers in back to back weeks. That’s pretty amazing considering. I know that I can’t think of any other team. The Colts are starting to play the sort of offense that made them Super Bowl winners in 2006 – 2007 and Super Bowl contenders last season. Their defense is playing better as well. Watch out for the Colts.

Here are the BetUS online sportsbook betting odds for this game.
Kick-off: 11/13/2008 1:00 pm est.

Houston Texans + 8 ½ – 110 + 290 O 51 – 110
Indianapolis Colts – 8 ½ – 110 – 350 U 51 – 110

Here are a few online wagering trends that might help us find a good online bet in this game.

The Houston Texans are 2 and 5 against the spread in their last 7 games versus an AFC opponent.
The Houston Texans are 1 and 6 against the spread in their last 7 games on the road.
The Indianapolis Colts are 3 and 10 against the spread in their last 13 games versus an AFC South opponent.
The Home team is 4 and 1 against the spread in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.

What this game comes down to is whether or not the Texans can keep up with the Colts. I have no doubt that they won’t be able to which is the reason I like the Colts to win this game against the BetUS online wagering spread of 8 ½ points.

NFL Week 11 Prediction:

I just don’t see the Texans having any shot at keeping this close.
