Can they beat the Cardinals 3 times this season?

The Cardinals are still one of the most dominant Offensive teams in the league.  They can light it up at any moment.  Kurt Warner is a seasoned veteran, and his experience is definitely an X factor in this contest.   Larry Fitzgerald is simply a Stud and will be a huge part of the outcome Sunday, either bad or good.  The Cardinals could be without Anquan Boldin however – he’s banger up once again.  The running game with Beanie Wells and Tim Hightower are finally a reliable part of the Offense and they could be the difference in the game.  [soliloquy id=”82219″] They will either be effective and keep the Green Bay Defense off balance, or they could lay an egg – putting Kurt Warner in harm’s way.

The Cardinals Defense is just OK although they play a lot better at home.   Their best cover man – Domonique Rogers-Cromartie is in danger of missing Sunday’s game which would be troublesome.  It seems that Sunday will be a shootout and that the team that can force an occasional turnover will win the game.

The Green Bay Packers are underdogs in this game.  The home team in the playoffs is usually favored.  However, the Packers enter the game with one of the most potent Offenses in the NFL.  It’s hard to imagine Aaron Rodgers and his group of receiver not being able to produce in a game in which the weather won’t be a factor.  Rodgers has proven this season that he can beat you with his arm, and change a game with his running ability.  His Offensive Line has been better, but a decent Cardinals pass rush could cause problems.  Still, Jennings, Driver, and an emerging Jeremichael Finley should be able to do some damage.  Ryan Grant has been playing well lately too.

Green Bay’s Defense has been a true surprise this season.  They generate a good pass rush which is the recipe for disrupting Kurt Warner and the Cards passing attack.  The Packers opportunistic secondary,  anchored by Charles Woodsen will look to create turnovers and should be able to force Arizona into a few mistakes.

Sunday’s game will be high scoring and the team that can force mistakes will be victorious.  Green Bay appears to be a more complete team right now, and they boast the most impressive and consistent Offense in the league.
