New York has shaken-off a slow start and comes into this game having won its last two games before last week’s bye. A solid 27-21 victory over San Diego as a one-point home underdog their last time out has the Jets at 4-3 straight-up and 3-4 against the spread. The total has gone ‘over’ in five of their first seven games.

The Jets are ranked 28th in the league in rushing offense, but Shonn Greene’s 112 yards on the ground against the Chargers is an encouraging sign. Mark Sanchez is still struggling with consistency and has only completed 55.8 percent of his throws this season.

Buffalo’s 23-0 shutout of Washington last Sunday in Toronto as a four-point favorite combined with New England’s loss to Pittsburgh has the Bills tied for first-place in the division at 5-2 SU (4-2-1 ATS). The total stayed ‘under’ the 46.5 point line, but it has gone ‘over’ in their previous six games.  [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Ryan Fitzpatrick continues to do a great job leading a Buffalo offense that is averaging 30.1 points a game. He has he completed an impressive 67.7 percent of his passes for 1,739 yards and 14 touchdowns. He has only been sacked eight times but he has thrown seven interceptions.

The Jets are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games against the AFC East and the total has gone ‘over’ in seven of their last nine games in the division.

The Bills are 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine games at home and the total has gone ‘over’ in their last five games against the AFC.

Head-to-head in this series, the road team is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings and the underdog is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 games. The Jets are 4-1 ATS in their last five trips to Buffalo and the total has gone ‘over’ in seven of the last 11 games played there.

Stick with these trends to hold true as New York continues to tighten things up in the division with the straight-up win that goes ‘over’ the total.

The Pick: New York 27 vs. Buffalo 24
