They are going to have to keep winning though because they finish the season at Dallas and can’t afford a tiebreaker with the Cowboys because they have already lost to them earlier this year.

It is perfect timing with a wounded Minnesota Vikings team on the schedule though this week. Things are pretty bleak in Minny and looking worse with RB Adrian Peterson out for this one and likely the season.
Philadelphia
The Eagles are among the hottest teams in the league and are looking good for a division title in Chip Kelly’s first season in the NFL. Even though he may have a rep as a finesse coach the Eagles really turned it on the worse the conditions got against the Lions on Sunday.
That was especially true of RB Lesean McCoy who ripped off a season high 217 yards contributing to the Eagles ranking as the top rushing team in the league.
QB Nick Foles threw his first interception since being given the starting job but given the conditions of the game his overall numbers were pretty solid.
This week it will be a completely different situation inside a cozy dome. That means we may see more aerial fireworks as WR Desean Jackson wasn’t much of a factor last week.

Philly needs this one and they are looking like they should get an easy win on Sunday.
Minnesota
The Vikings are in real trouble as they close the season. Their next three games including this one are all against teams leading their division and the one thing they do well, which is run the ball, is going to be a serious challenge with Adrian Peterson, and backup, Toby Gerhart, out of action – they are doubtful and questionable this weekend.
That means even more exposure for passing game that has been rotating substandard QB all season long. Its possible they can get a decent game out of Christian Ponder or Matt Cassel but all evidence has been to the contrary this season on that front.
Without a running game or a strong defense to pick whoever is in there up there is not a lot reason to think that Minnesota will be a winner on Sunday.
This could be one of the uglier game this weekend as I don’t see how Minnesota is going to stay with the Eagles.
