There will be plenty of change for the Cowboys in this one as the team will be without Starting quarterback Tony Romo who was placed on the IR with a back injury on Sunday. He’ll be replaced by Kyle Orton who was signed in the 2012 offseason to be one of the highest-paid backups in football for situations just like this one. Orton has seen limited snaps since joining the Cowboys but has taken the first-team reps in practice all week.

The team needed a last-minute win to beat the Redskins 24-23 and remain in the playoff picture for another week. Running back DeMarco Murray has been stellar for the team since returning from injury. Murray ran 22 times against the Redskins for 96 yards and a score, adding three catches for 15 yards and the game-winning touchdown with 1:08 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Tony Romo completed 17 of 27 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns with an interception in that one, hooking up with Dez Bryant four times for 73 yards and a score.

The Eagles will be playing on Sunday Night Football for the second week in a row after throttling Chicago 54-11 under the lights a week ago.

The Eagles racked up 514 yards of offense in that one, 289 of which came on the ground. As a team, the Eagles averaged 8.0 yards per carry. LeSean McCoy led the way with 133 yards and two touchdowns, while Bryce Brown carried the ball nine times for 115 yards and a 65-yard score in relief. Quarterback Nick Foles completed 21 of 25 passes for 230 yards and two scores without a turnover.

The team’s defense did well a week after giving up 48 points to Minnesota. They limited the Bears to an average of just 3.2 yards per carry, allowing Jay Cutler to throw for just 222 yards and a score despite trailing from start to finish, picking him off once and sacking him five times.

The Cowboys have looked bad at times this year, but they’re 5-0 against NFC East opponents this year and should still be able to move the ball with Orton under center, particularly if they lean heavily on Murray on the ground.

The Cowboys are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against NFC East opponents, and are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Eagles.

The play: Dallas +7
