Tampa looked good last week and almost got their first win of the year in Seattle while the Fins used a terrific defensive performance particularly by Cameron Wake to secure victory on Thursday Night Football against a very good Cincinnati team.

Each team has had more than their share of controversy this year – I will try to avoid any mention of any of it – for sanity sake!

The Miami Dolphins looked good last week in every aspect of the game against Cincinnati last week and earned a much-deserved win to climb back into contention in their division. Everything appeared to be looking up for Ryan Tannehill and company before the aforementioned and purposely not mentioned issue in the locker room.

Ryan Tannehill has takes a small step backward this year but you can’t blame him solely. He has been sacked more times than any other QB in the league. And this week Tannehill will be forced to play without half of his offensive line – because of the “not-to-be-mentioned event”.

Tannehill has thrown for 1,977 yards and 11 TDs this year in eight games but will certainly be under siege this week.

The Fins running game showed signs of life last week and may be Miami’s salvation going forward. Lamar Miller has been good, rushing for 448 yards and two scores on 4.8 yards per carry and Daniel Thomas looks like a terrific compliment for this team.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be happy to have the media focus off of them heading into Week 10. Every aspect of their game looked good in Seattle last week – the offense, the defense and even the coaching!

Mike Glennon is the commander of the Bucs ship for the rest of the season and while he may not look like a legitimate franchise guy, he has proven to be a good game manager – keeping his team in games so far. Glennon has passed for 1,165 yards and eight touchdowns in five starts this season and he at very least knows where his meal ticket is – Vincent Jackson.

Tight End Timothy Wright is emerging as well making the Bucs passing offense better than most would think. Mike James also looked good running the ball against a very sound Seattle D. Lots of optimism – not a ton of results!

Tampa’s defense may be the biggest disappointment of the team so far. Full of first round draft choices, this unit has failed to live up to expectation. The Buccaneers rank 17th in total yards allowed, 15th in passing yards and 13th in rushing yards per game this season – not good enough when you possess an average offense at best.

Monday Night Football Betting Prediction

A few trends to consider:

• Under is 11-2 in MIA last 13 games in Week 10.
• MIA are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 road games.
• Under is 18-7-1 in MIA last 26 games in November.
• TB are 10-28-1 ATS in their last 39 home games.

Distraction seems to be a common theme among the Florida football teams. Because of it, only one team has been able to focus solely on the game this week and that team has a huge advantage going into Week 10. Both Miami and Tampa had something to build upon after their Week 9 performances but one team had it all crumble down in epic fashion. Tampa takes advantage of the distraction this week and gets their first win!

Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2 1/2
