Washington Redskins vs. New York Giants Preview

On the season the Redskins are 4-9 ATS and they have an O/U record of 6-7 and the Giants are 5-8 ATS and they have an O/U record of 8-5.

This season the Giants are 2-4 at home and the Redskins are 1-6 on the road.

In their last games the Giants beat the Tennessee Titans 36-7 and the Redskins lost to the St. Louis Rams 24-0.

The Redskins are reeling, as they have lost 5 in a row and were totally embarrassed at home in their last game getting shut out by the St. Louis Rams. They managed just 206 total yards in the game and Colt McCoy and RB Alfred Morris really struggled. They not head to the Big Apple to play the Giants, who crushed them at home earlier this season.

Robert Griffin III has been benched, but may get the start this Sunday, as McCoy suffered a neck injury and is questionable for this NFC East match up.

The Giants snapped their 7-game losing streak in their last game and head into this one favored by 6.5 points at home.

The Giants got a solid effort from Eli Manning in the win over the Titans passing for 260 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. Odell Beckham Jr. set a New York team record with his 4th game with 100 yards receiving this season. The Redskins do rank a decent 13th in the league in pass defense and held the Rams to under 200 passing yards, but in the first match up of the season facing the Giants the Skins allowed Manning to pass for 300 yards and 4 TD.

He was only sacked one time in that game and Washington needs to get to him in the pocket or he may torch their secondary again.

In the first match up the Giants rushed for 154 yards and in the Tennessee game Andre Williams rushed for 130 yards. The Redskins rank 11th in the league in run defense and in the St. Louis game they gave up 131 rushing yards.

To say that the Redskins struggled on offense facing the Rams would be an understatement. McCoy passed for 199 yards, but had 2 INT and 0 INT and he was sacked 6 times. Morris only had 6 yards on 8 carries and as a team the Redskins rushed for a grand total of 27 yards.

The Giants totally shut down the Titans on defense and for the season they rank 12th in the league in pass defense and only 30th in run defense.

Morris will get his chances in this game and if he struggles again it may be a long day for the Skins.

4* Cappers NFL Free Pick

I hate to pick against my Skins, especially facing the Giants, but they are imploding and things will get no better in New York. The Giants will easily win this game at home and cover the spread handing the Redskins their 6th straight loss.
