Dallas Cowboys vs. Seattle Seahawks Preview

On the season the Cowboys are 3-2 ATS and they have an O/U record of 2-3 and the Seahawks are 3-1 ATS and they have an Under record of 2-2.

This season the Seahawks are 2-0 at home and the Cowboys are 2-0 on the road.

In their last games the Cowboys beat the Houston Texans 20-17 in OT and the Seahawks beat the Washington Redskins 27-17.

The Cowboys have won 4 straight games and are tied with the Eagles atop the NFC East, but are they for real? In their winning streak they have only faced one team that has a winning record and that was their last one where they beat the Texans in OT. They will surely get tested in this game by a Seahawks’ team that has been very impressive in winning their last 2 games.

Russell Wilson only has 1 pick on the season and in the win over Washington he passed for over 200 yards and rushed for a career high 122 yards. While he does not have a great WR corps he is spreading the wealth around with many solid targets.

The Cowboys’ pass defense was solid in the win over Houston, but overall that unit only ranks 18th in the league.

Marshawn Lynch has not rushed for over 100 yards since the season opener, but in the Washington game he rushed for 72 yards and also had 45 receiving yards. He has to be a major worry for the Cowboys’ run defense that ranks 20th in the league and allowed Houston’s Adrian Foster to rush for over 150 yards last week.

Tony Romo passed for over 320 yards in the Houston win and he only has 2 INT in his last 4 games. Dez Bryant is his main target and he and Terrance Williams have combined for 9 TD on the season. While the Seahawks have a couple of big name players in their secondary their pass D has been an issue this season ranking 22nd in the league.

While the Seahawks pass defense has struggled on the season their run defense ranks #1 in the NFL. They have a tall task in this game facing Dallas RB DeMarco Murray, who is having a great season.

He not only leads the league in rushing yards, but also has rushed for over 100 yards in every game this season and is averaging 5.2 yards per carry.
