Indianapolis Colts 2015 Super Bowl Odds & 5 Reasons to bet on them

Betting on Super Bowl Futures?

Coming off their upset win against the Denver Broncos, the Indianapolis Colts will take on the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game.

Taking the Colts future to win the Superbowl holds a lot of value as they are one of the hottest teams in football.

1. Andrew Luck

Andrew Luck has proven he’s a winner and can beat the best teams in the NFL. Throwing for 265 yards and two touchdowns in the AFC Divisional game, Luck continues to pick apart the opposition.

Luck is also making the other offensive players around him better. Donte Moncrief, Dwayne Allen, and Hakeem Nicks all have touchdown receptions this post season. Luck has shown he can be a leader for this Colts team.

With the game on the line, Andrew Luck has been nothing, but clutch. He can drive the team down the field in the 2 minute offense, or hold a long sustained drive to eat clock that ends in points.

2. Colts Lockdown Defense

The Colts defense has been dominant as of late. They shut down Andy Dalton in the AFC Wild Card game allowing him to pass for just 144 yards and never allowing him to get in any sort of rhythm. Against Peyton Manning and the Broncos, the defense held Peyton Manning to just 211 passing yards.

They’ve allowed just 23 points combined against two of the best offensives in the NFL.

3. Playoff Experience

Indianapolis has been here before. They’ve played postseason football in 12 of the last 13 seasons.

This season, they are the only team remaining that has played in two playoff games.

While some will see that as a disadvantage, it is in turn a major advantage for the Colts. Getting hot during playoff time can give a team momentum and momentum is everything during the playoffs.

Indianapolis has essentially dominated both of their games and is playing with a bit of swagger in them. Adapting to the underdog role is only fueling their fire even more.

4. Special Teams

Sure K Adam Vinatieri missed a field goal in the Divisional Playoff game on Sunday. He gets an out because of the Mile High air. Other than that, Vinatieri has been money all season. He missed just one field goal in the regular season with a long of 50 yards. In postseason play, Vinatieri is 5 of 6 with a long of 53.

In what will be his 30th playoff game of his career, Vinatieri has been through all the pressures. To add to his already impressive resume, he’s also kicked the game winning field goal in a Superbowl back in 2002 as time expires.

If needed to make a clutch kick with time winding down, odds are Vinatieri won’t miss.

5. Chuck Pagano

When coaches in the NFL are mentioned, the likes of Bill Belichick, Mike McCarthy, and Mike Tomlin will be heard. Chuck Pagano has flown under the radar to become one of the best coaches in the game.

[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Pagano has posted back-to-back 11 win seasons and this is his 2nd time with the Colts in the playoffs.

Pagano’s play calling has been top notch and he has proved it is near impossible to out coach him, especially in the 4th quarter.

The Colts at 8-1 odds is an excellent bet. Playing in that Wild Card game did nothing but get this team rolling along.

Andrew Luck is playing at his highest level and with the help of Dan Herron in the backfield, the Colts offense can strike on any play.
