Both the Denver Broncos and the Jacksonville Jaguars both lost their last four games of the season and both have coaches that NFL odds are will find themselves on the hot seat at some point this season.

It’s funny that all your heard coming out of Bronco camp was news about Tim Tebow. Lost is the fact both the starting running backs, Knowshon Moreno and Correll Buckhalter sustained injuries in the preseason, their best defensive player, by a mile, Elvis Dumerville was lost for the season and the only weapon in the passing game, Brandon Marshall was traded. Yup, this team looks to be in some trouble.
Kyle Orton will start and who knows who the pass catchers will be. Hopes are that the running back will return for the start of the season – they are going to need Moreno particularly or this team is going nowhere. 
The Denver defense was a mess last season and the loss of Dumerville will be crushing. He was the only person in the 26th ranked run defense that could stop anybody. Guess what – the Jaguars have a serious running game that they have absolutely no problem riding it til the end.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are more competitive than their recent records indicates. Sure David Gerrard has been anything but thrilling but one thing that you can say for him is that he knows the offense. He’s run is for a few seasons and has a new toy Mike-Sims Walker, he will be slightly less than solid but passable as an NFL quarterback.
He’s also got Maurice Jones-Drew who will likely touch the ball 30 times during the game – a nice option indeed! Drew has rumored knee issues and if he doesn’t play, the NFL odds will certainly be stacked against Jacksonville. Assuming he plays, he will be the deciding factor.
Jacksonville’s defense is poor again but probably will not need to be world breakers to stop the Denver offense.
NFL Odds Prediction:
The Denver Broncos went 6-0 to start the season last year – no way it happens again! Maurice Jones-Drew plays right to the heart of Denver’s weakness. He will run all day long and the only strength of the Denver attack, its running game will be neutralized early. Jacksonville should win this games easily and the points? Don’t worry about them!
