After some tense moments against the Giants a couple of weeks ago the Packers cruised last week at home against the Raiders.

I thought Oakland might pose more of a threat but the only damage they did was to Greg Jennings’ knee as he will be out for a few weeks. That should matter little this week as the Packers look to improve to 14-0.
Against Oakland we saw the return of running back Ryan Grant. The veteran back ran for 85 yards and a couple of scores and has the whole league saying – what if the Packers develop a running game? Any game where they can run the ball effectively can be a disaster for opponents because Aaron Rodgers is so dialed in right now. How is this for a stat? Last week was the only game all season that Rodgers passer rating wasn’t above 100 – it was just 96.
If this line holds it will be the biggest yet for the Packers this season. Last week they cruised over the number increasing their ATS record to 9-4. There is little doubt given the opponent that they will win the game but the large number gives me pause. It just feels like a little too much on the road at a venue that usually is pretty loud. It only takes a wacky last minute play or two for a 21 pointer to become 14.
Kansas City

I think it was a tad unfair. This team has been playing without its top running back pretty much all season, has been missing it starting QB for a good chunk and is missing its top player in the secondary. Did any really thing they had the depth to overcome those kinds of losses?
With Tyler Palko at the controls the Chiefs are just terrible on offense right now. They have only scored 32 points over the last 4 game combined. Considering that the Packers average 35ppg it is obvious that they are going to have to figure some things out if they actually want to keep it competitive for more than a quarter. It is amazing that Palko can be so ineffective given that he has actually been in the league a while.
Its not much better on defense for KC. Last week the Jets and Mark Sanchez were able to do whatever they wanted on offense so you can imagine that Aaron Rodgers is liking his lips. Still there might be value on the Chiefs side as they have covered both times they were double digit underdogs this season, including two weeks ago when they hosted Pittsburgh.
