The Seahawks were 19-1 at home since acquiring quarterback Russell Wilson, but the team allowed the Dallas Cowboys to escape Seattle with a 30-23 win on Sunday.

The Seahawks took a 30-23 lead in the game midway through the fourth quarter when Steven Hauschka connected on a field goal to take a 23-20 lead, but the Cowboys scored the game’s final 10 points on a DeMarco Murray touchdown run and a late field goal.

Now they take to the road to do battle with a Rams team that they have beaten three times in a row and in 16 of the last 18 matchups.

The Seahawks are also 9-3 in their last 12 road games.

As for the Rams, they jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead over the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night before getting outscored 31-3 the rest of the way in a 31-17 loss.

Quarterback Austin Davis completed 21-of-42 passes for 236 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Davis has thrown for 938 yards and seven touchdowns over his last three starts.

The Rams have had a lot of trouble getting to the quarterback this season. After racking up 53 sacks last season, with 19 of them coming from defensive end Robert Quinn, the Rams have been able to record only one sack thus far on the season, with that coming from standout rookie defensive tackle Aaron Donald in Week 2.

Free St. Louis vs. Seattle Pick:

The Seahawks won’t be happy after picking up their second loss of the season last week, this one at home no less.

They’re certainly far superior to a Rams team that has only one sack this season. With a desire to get their passing game going, the Seahawks should be able to build a margin here.

Additionally, the under is worth a look as both teams have been doing a fair job defensively. The Rams will certainly do the majority of their work on the ground when on offense, but the Seahawks should do a lot of the same as they look to get Marshawn Lynch involved against after he was an afterthought last weekend.
