The AFC South foes both enter with a 1-2 record, but the Titans enter with a two-game losing streak after winning their opener and dropping back-to-back games, while the Colts won their last outing to snap a two-game losing streak.

The Colts have absolutely dominated this series in recent years, and after ripping apart another AFC South foe in the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday, the Titans surely have to be worried about what’s in store for them come Sunday. Indianapolis has won five in a row and 10 of the last 11 meetings with Tennessee, and has now won nine straight games inside the division.

Quarterback Andrew Luck set career highs in completion percentage (79.5 percent) while throwing for 370 yards and four touchdowns in a 44-17 victory over the Jaguars. Over his last seven games, Luck has thrown 17 touchdown passes as he continues to establish himself as one of the elite players at his position. As a team, the Colts churned out 529 total yards against the Jaguars.

The Titans’ quarterback situation is a little more unsettled as Jake Locker played through a sore wrist in the team’s 33-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals a week ago and now seems unlikely to play come Sunday.

If he can’t go, Charlie Whitehurst would get the start in his place. That is bad news for a Titans squad which has scored only 17 points in its last two games. Most of the work has been done by tight end Delanie Walker, who has compiled a team-high 17 catches to go along with two of the team’s three receiving touchdowns.

If Whitehurst were to get the nod, the Titans would surely put a greater emphasis on establishing their backfield duo of Shonn Greene and rookie Bishop Sankey, who have been effective in limited work this season.

The Colts’ rushing tandem of Ahmad Bradshaw and Trent Richardson have also enjoyed success, combined for 271 rushing yards over the last two weeks.

Free Colts vs. Titans Pick:

The familiarity between the two squads means there will not be a whole lot that either offense can do to surprise the opposing defense.

Additionally, with the current state of the Titans’ quarterback situation, don’t be surprised to see the team finally begin to lean on the run, which will keep the clock moving and further our cause.

The under is 5-0 in the Titans’ last five games overall, and 16-5 in the Colts’ last 21 games overall.

The under is 8-1 in the last nine meetings between these teams in Indianapolis, and 14-4 in the last 18 meetings overall.

The 4* NFL Play: Under 45.5
