The Broncos would surely like to forget what went down in Foxborough last week, as Denver just couldn’t get anything right in their trip there, coming away with a 43-21 loss, even though quarterback Peyton Manning threw for 438 yards.

Manning connected on two touchdown passes in the game, but his 59.6 percent completion rate was his lowest of the season, and he also threw a pair of interceptions after entering the game with three interceptions through seven games.
The 22-point loss margin was equalled the losing margin in the Broncos’ last four regular season losses combined, as each of those losses ended with a margin within seven points. Even still, the Broncos maintain a one-game edge in the AFC West and look to build on that margin against a divisional foe on Sunday.
As for the Raiders, they are coming off an impressive effort against the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, dropping that game 30-24 to fall to 0-8, but keeping competitive in a venue where most teams struggle mightily.

The loss was the 14th consecutive defeat for the Raiders, who are 0-14 in their last 14 games dating back to last season.
Oakland fell behind the Seahawks by a score of 24-3 in that one but made some noise in the fourth quarter to keep the final score respectable.
They’ve been competitive since their bye week, entering the fourth quarter of each of their previous three games either tied or within one score.

Few teams can keep pace with the Broncos when they get going, but Denver has been vulnerable to the back door cover of late, and the Raiders have been experts and pulling off just that.

Many will expect the Broncos to come out looking for blood coming off a loss in New England, but this is their second consecutive road game, and they may not be at their best.
Additionally, both teams figure to get their points in this one. As mentioned above, the Raiders have been particularly good at scoring late, even when games have already been decided, and the Broncos usually give up points at that time.
The Broncos are 1-4 ATS in their last five games coming off a loss of more than 14 points, while the Raiders are 4-1 ATS in their last five games played in the month of November.
The over is 5-2-1 in the Raiders’ last eight home games, and it is 15-7 in the Broncos’ last 22 road games.
