The Jets have not had a good off-season and their preseason was not much better averaging only 8.5 points in their preseason games. The Bills had a great start to last season before flaming out in the 2nd half and they have high hopes coming into this season.

Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets Preview
They have Fred Jackson back from injury and they signed LB Mario Williams in the off-season. NFL lines have the home Jets as the 3-point favorite in this AFC division match up with a total of 39.
In the preseason the Jets were 0-4 and the Bills were also 0-4.
Last season the Bills were 6-9-1 ATS with an Over/Under record of 5-10-1 and the Jets were 6-10 ATS with an Over/Under record of 10-6.
Mark Sanchez is still the starting QB, but Tim Tebow will see time under center and the big question in the Big Apple is will that work? We shall see, but one thing the Jets have working against them is that they have a very weak WR corps. The Bills had a sketchy pass defense last season ranking 19th in the league, but they may be better this season since Buffalo drafted CB Stephon Gilmore with the 10th pick.

Shonn Green leads the rushing offense, but can he be a #1 RB? The Bills only ranked 28th in the league last season in run defense and the Bills are hoping the addition of Williams will improve that part of their D
Ryan Fitzpatrick is a good QB and he has an emerging star in WR Steve Johnson and #2 WR David Nelson had 61 catches for over 650 yards. The pass defense of the jets was good last season led by Darrelle Revis.
The Bills struggled last season when Fred Jackson went down with a major knee injury and he and CJ Spiller are a solid unit that will be facing a Jets’ run defense that had their issues last season, but still ranked a respectable 13th in the league.
In some betting trends for this division game the Bills are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games, 1-3 ATS in their last 4 road games, and they have an Over record of 7-1-1 in their last 9 road games.
The Jets are 0-3 ATS in their last 3 games, 3-3 ATS in their last 6 home games, and they have an Over record of 4-1 in their last 5 home games.
The road team is 8-1 ATS in the last 9 games between these 2 AFC East teams.
Jason’s Pick: I think the Jets will continue to struggle in the regular season, as the Bills will play well and win and cover the spread.
