Here’s a look at the Dallas Cowboys’ schedule for the upcoming season.

Week 1: Sun, Sept. 13 vs. Giants

The Giants had dominated this series, winning five of six against their NFC East rivals, but the Cowboys have built a roster made for this matchup. Dallas rides a four-game winning streak against New York into Week 1.

Week 2: Sun, Sept. 20 at Eagles

The Eagles finished the 2014 season going 1-3 and completely overhauled a roster that picked up 10 wins last season. Dallas has won three in a row in Philadelphia.

Week 3: Sun, Sept. 27 vs. Falcons

Atlanta won six games a season ago, and even that doesn’t tell the full story of how bad they were, as they played in the worst division in football.

Week 4: Sun, Oct. 4 at Saints

The Saints are in a rebuild at the moment, but it still won’t be fun making that trip out to the Superdome. The Cowboys beat up on the Saints in Week 4 last season.

Week 5: Sun, Oct. 11 vs. Patriots

There’s a point every season where Bill Belichick gets everyone on the right page and the Patriots win games at will. The Cowboys have to hope a Week 5 matchup is early enough in the season that New England hasn’t reached that point yet. Tony Romo is 0-2 against the Patriots in his career.

Week 6: BYE

Week 7: Sun, Oct. 25 at Giants

Getting New York out of the way early has to be considered a good thing, and having to make the trip out to MetLife Stadium isn’t all bad. The Cowboys are 4-1 in their last five trips there.

Week 8: Sun, Nov. 1 vs. Seahawks

The Cowboys’ tough schedule will only get tougher when the Seahawks make a visit. Dallas beat the Seahawks in Seattle a year ago, and one would have to figure Pete Carroll’s troops will be show up looking for revenge.

Week 9: Sun, Nov.8 vs. Eagles

A prime-time matchup will feature the return of DeMarco Murray to AT&T Stadium in his first game there since signing with the Eagles in the offseason.

Week 10: Sun, Nov. 15 at Buccaneers

The Cowboys will get their first look at No. 1 overall draft pick Jameis Winston, and will get to see former player Bruce Carter in his new threads.

Week 11: Sun, Nov. 22 at Dolphins

A second consecutive road game but it just happens to be down the road from the last. It will be interesting to see whether Jason Garrett brings his troops back-and-forth to Dallas in between games or keeps everyone in Florida.

Week 12: Thurs, Nov. 26 vs. Carolina

A matchup of division winners here as the Panthers fell backwards into an NFC South title a year ago.

Week 13: Mon, Dec. 7 at Redskins

A second consecutive prime-time matchup for the Cowboys here. They’ve won three of their last four games in Washington.

Week 14: Sun, Dec. 13 at Packers

A short week for Rod Marinelli and the Cowboys defense to prepare for Aaron Rodgers. Have to figure Dez Bryant finds the end zone this time around.

Week 15: Sat, Dec. 19 vs. Jets

That’s right, a second consecutive short week for the Cowboys who will play three games in 18 days.

Week 16: Sun, Dec. 27 at Bills

A trip to Buffalo is probably the last thing Tony Romo and company will want to do at this time of year, but they’ll have their warm-weather gear handy after a trip to Green Bay just two weeks prior.

Week 17: Sun, Jan. 3 vs. Redskins

Washington handed the Cowboys a shocking loss in prime time in their building a year ago, doing so with Colt McCoy at quarterback and leaving Tony Romo injured.
