2013 Seattle Seahawks Complete Season Schedule | Handicapping

Seahawks Schedule – NFL Football

Next up. The Seattle Seahawks. One of my favorite tools in preparing for the 2013 NFL football season and to enhance your nfl wagering knowledge is to look ahead at each teams NFL schedule, and evaluate the games they will play.

2013 Regular Season Opponents

Sun, Sept. 8 @ Carolina This Week 1 opener features the most intriguing match-up of young signal-callers not named Robert Griffin, in Seattle’s Russell Wilson and Carolina’s Cam Newton.

Sun, Sept. 15 SAN FRANCISCO This’ll be an awesome divisional rivalry all of the way through the 2013 season; these teams are undoubtedly two of the best in the entire league.

Sun, Sept. 22 JACKSONVILLE Offensive weapons like Wilson, RB Marshawn Lynch and WRs Golden Tate, Sidney Rice and newly-acquired Percy Harvin should make an absolute mockery of rebuilding Jacksonville’s defense.

Sun, Sept. 29 @ Houston Another marquee match-up on the schedule, featuring the upstart Seahawks. This should be a close game, as the Texans have a formidable offense, not to mention arguably the best player in the NFL in DE J.J. Watt.

Sun, Oct. 6 @ Indianapolis After a miserable campaign two years ago, the Colts pulled their socks up quickly. Expect an interesting clash of styles, with run-oriented Seahawks and pass-happy Indy.

Sun, Oct. 13 TENNESSEE Titans RB Chris Johnson has had a slight resurgence of late, but Seattle shouldn’t have much trouble with this home game, especially with the 12th man of the raucous Pacific Northwest crowd.

Thurs, Oct. 17 @ Arizona The Cardinals have a legitimate defense, and they’ll need it in top form if they hope to make a game of this divisional clash.

Mon, Oct. 28 @ St. Louis If Rams QB Sam Bradford really emerges as a consistent, reliable performer, the Rams will remain a tough customer in the NFC West. It will be weird, however, to not see RB Steven Jackson in the backfield for St. Lou. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Sun, Nov. 3 TAMPA BAY Brandon Browner, Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor and speedy Earl Thomas make up an unbelievable Seattle secondary, and you can bet they plan on making Bucs QB Josh Freeman’s visit quite unpleasant.

Sun, Nov. 10 @ Atlanta I think the Falcons are one of the only other NFC clubs that have a truly legitimate shot at representing the conference in the Super Bowl. Needless to say, utilize NFL Sunday Ticket to watch this beauty.

Sun, Nov. 17 MINNESOTA Seattle’s entire front seven must put in a collective focus in an effort to slow down transcendent RB Adrian Peterson.

Sun, Nov. 24 BYE

Mon, Dec. 2 NEW ORLEANS Drew Brees is still an elite QB in this league, and the Hawks would be mindful to remember that if (when?) overcommitting and biting on pump fakes.

Sun, Dec. 8 @ San Francisco This late-season NFL West tilt should have profound implications on who emerges from the division. I find it interesting to see how similar the running styles of Seattle’s Lynch and San Fran RB Frank Gore are – two tough power backs that run angry.

Sun, Dec. 15 @ N.Y. Giants Seattle offensive tackles Russell Okung and Breno Giacomini must bring their A-game on the road in December, as the Giants’ pass rush is scary good.

Sun, Dec. 22 ARIZONA There’s no doubt the Desert Birds will be Sleepless in Seattle around the holiday season.

Sun, Dec. 29 ST. LOUIS The Rams are counting on a lot of young players to emerge on their offense, but having said that, the Seahawks were in the exact some position a year or two ago.
