Here we go with the Green Bay Packers.

Green Bay Packers Preseason Schedule

Aug. 12-16 Cleveland
Aug. 19-23 at Seattle
Aug. 26 Indianapolis
Sept. 2-3 at Kansas City

2010 Regular Season Opponents

Sun, Sept. 12 @ Philadelphia A bona fide difficult way to kick off 2010. Green Bay’s back seven must do its best to bottle up weapons like WRs DeSean Jackson, Jason Avant and TE Brent Celek.

Sun, Sept. 19 BUFFALO If the Bills pass as ineffectively as they did last season, the Pack shouldn’t have a problem simply out-scoring their Week 2 opposition.

Mon, Sept. 27 @ Chicago Early estimations make the Bears look containable this season; if QB Jay Cutler makes as many mental errors as he’s prone to, it’ll only be easier. The strongest arm in the world is useless if you throw to the wrong colored jersey.

Sun, Oct. 3 DETROIT Green Bay hopes its interior offensive line is ready to contain a new, Suh-perb rookie DT.

Sun, Oct. 10 @ Washington Points could be at a premium in this game, but that’s also more of a problem for the Redskins than it is for the Packers.

Sun, Oct. 17 MIAMI Surely the Dolphins are thanking their lucky stars this meeting at Lambeau Field is scheduled for October and not December.

Sun, Oct. 24 MINNESOTA This genuine rivalry is exacerbated by the fact that these two teams are the best in the division – expect a great one.

Sun, Oct. 31 @ New York Jets The battle of two young pivots: one (Aaron Rodgers) just hitting his prime and the other (Mark Sanchez) perhaps not quite there yet.

Sun, Nov. 7 DALLAS The four consecutive games leading up to Green Bay’s bye week are as tricky as they come. The Cowboys’ offensive arsenal is at least as potent as the Packers’. My Sportsbook

Sun, Nov. 14 BYE

Sun, Nov. 21 @ Minnesota To cripple Brett Favre or not to cripple Brett Favre, that is the question (one made moot if he packs in his career, but what’s the likelihood of that?).

Sun, Nov. 28 @ Atlanta In case you haven’t noticed, the Packers have the polar opposite of a cakewalk for their 2010 schedule.

Sun, Dec. 5 SAN FRANCISCO Finally, a game Green Bay can get its hands around, though the Niners are a wildcard because you never really know what you’re going to get out of them.

Sun, Dec. 12 @ Detroit With a tough sked, this is the kind of road game a team needs to win, and the Packers should.

Sun, Dec. 19 @ New England Never a fun place to play, even for a team accustomed to cold weather.

Sun, Dec. 26 NEW YORK GIANTS Not many people are talking about the Giants in the NFC East, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t a really tough customer.

Sun, Jan. 2 CHICAGO A home game that can be/might have to be an exclamation point leading up to the playoffs.
