Texas A&M Aggies vs. Mississippi St. Bulldogs Free Gambling Prediction & Week 10 Preview

Aggies vs Bulldogs NCAA Football Spread/Handicapping

The Aggies have been better than expected in their SEC debut season. They have two losses to Florida and LSU by a combined 8 points proving that they are not being outclassed by too much.

Texas A&M

Finishing with a .500 record or better is going to be tough though with road games at Mississippi State this week and then at Alabama the next.  Both the Gators and Tigers had to visit Kyle Field which is not very hospitable, but beating SEC teams on the road is another story.

Texas A&M rebounded well against Auburn last week but everyone is smacking down those Tigers this year…but not everyone is scoring 63 points while doing so.

QB Johnny Manziel led an attack that put up more than 600 yards of offense while accounting for 5 TDs.  The Aggies punished them on the ground with close to 400 yards rushing.  In this second game in a row on the road Mississippi State is likely to put up more of a fight.

This is a statement game for the Aggies.  Win and you are closer in the eyes of those that matter to the top of the SEC West, lose and you are in the second tier (where everyone expected they would be).  With the way their offense can score this number is definitely doable, especially if they can get the ground game going again as the Bulldogs are a very good team against the pass.

Mississippi State

The Bulldogs were looking for some respect last week when they visited Alabama.  Let’s just say things didn’t work out the way they had hoped.  [soliloquy id=”82219″]

They got thumped by the Crimson Tide and now they have to get off the mat against another team capable of throttling them.  They need a stronger defensive effort and will definitely need to score more than the 7 points they scored last week.

With just one loss the Bulldogs are still technically alive for a program altering season.  They have to regroup at home or 7-0 will turn to 7-4 before they know it.  QB Tyler Russell will definitely have an easier time of it against A&M than Alabama and maybe he can return to the form that threw just one interception in the 7 weeks leading up to last week’s game.  They are going to need to score some points to win against the Aggies.

Mississippi State is 4-1 ATS this season at home but this is the first time they have been the underdog.  I like that mentality in a game like this but I just wonder if the team is going to be a bit shell shocked after last week.  This will be a true test of how good a coach Dan Mullen really  is.  Is he building the best program in the state of Mississippi or one that can truly compete.  I am not sure.
