Matt’s Prediction

Games like this are hard to call, as both teams have shown flashes of brilliance, and at the same time areas of vulnerability.

So, I have to go with the home team simply on numbers.

On the road, the Rebels are 0-1 while averaging 23 points scoring, and holding teams to 51.0 points scored on defense.

Meanwhile, the Lobos are averaging 13 points at home and holding teams to 21 points.

Mix in a rebound performance from Carrier, and the Lobos eek out a win in this one.

New Mexico 23, UNLV 20
