The latest in Ole Miss’s winning streak came in a cupcake matchup with Troy, a game they won 51-21.

Quarterback Bo Wallace did it all for the team in that game, completing 17 of 26 passes for 272 yards and three scores without an interception, adding 66 yards and a fourth score on nine carries. Wallace’s favorite target in the game was Laquon Treadwell, who brought in four balls for 53 yards and two scores in the game.

The team’s ground game was solid, with seven players rushing for more than 40 yards, and the team churning out 382 yards and three scores on 61 attempts, good for a 6.3 yard average.

The defense completely took away Troy’s rushing game, as the Trojans netted negative-13 yards rushing on 22 attempts. In total, Troy was able to generate 313 yards of offense, with a lot of that coming in the fourth quarter with game already decided.

Missouri went on the road last weekend but was able to steamroll Kentucky, winning that SEC matchup 48-17. The team’s ground game didn’t see a lot of work, but did big things when they had the ball in their hands. The Tigers churned out 223 yards rushing on just 30 attempts, good for an average of 7.4 yards per attempt.

Running back Henry Josey led the way, carrying the ball 11 times for 113 yards and two scores. Backup quarterback Maty Mauk filled in admirably in likely his final shot of the year at the helm, throwing five touchdown passes.

The Missouri defense allowed Kentucky to rack up 369 yards of offense, but limited the Wildcats to just 17 points on the night. Kentucky tried to pound the ball on the ground, but was limited to 2.6 yards per carry.

Picking against Missouri hasn’t been a wise decision, and this appears to be another situation in which backing the Tigers is the wise play. Ole Miss has been streaky this season, and as they enter the tough closing portion of their schedule, they could be in for a bad streak to end the year.

Expect a strong effort from a Missouri team that gets back starting quarterback James Franklin for this contest, as his return should provide the team with enough motivation to offset the fact that they’re playing in a hostile environment.

The Tigers are 8-1-1 ATS in their 10 games this season.

The play: Missouri -2.5
