NCAA Football Previews – Troy Trojans vs. FIU Golden Panthers
The Troy Trojans will try and move up the standings in the Sun Belt Conference when they square-off against the Florida International Golden Panthers this Tuesday night at FIU Stadium. Kick-off is slated for 8 p.m. and the game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.

Troy has a pair of wins over Middle Tennessee and UAB around stuffed between four losses to open the year 2-4 straight-up (1-5 against the spread). Running back Kendrick Rhodes has gained 590 yards on 124 carries and wide receiver T.Y. Hilton has 43 receptions for 738 yards to lead FIU’s offensive attack.
Troy is 2-5 ATS in its last seven road games and the total has stayed ‘under’ in four of its last five conference games.
Florida International is 2-6 ATS in its last eight games as a home favorite and the total has stayed ‘under’ in seven of its last 12 games at home.
Head-to-head in this series, the road team is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the total has gone ‘over’ in the last three games. While FIU should find a way to win this game at home, stick with the Trojans to keeps things closer than the 6.5-point spread.
