Free Prediction: Bowling Green vs. #17 Wisconsin Point Spreads & Preview

Week 4: Falcons vs Badgers Predictions

College football week #4 betting action sees the Bowling Green Falcons taking on the Wisconsin Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison on Saturday September 20.  Cappers Picks provides free *NFL* (Insert sport) handicapping tips all season long.

Last week the Falcons nipped one B10 team and are looking for another. This week they will learn there is a very big difference between a Badger and a Hoosier.

Bowling Green

BGSU is off to a decent start this season. They took a jab to the face when they lost their opener at Western Kentucky but with back to back wins, including beating the high flying Hoosiers last week they look like they will be a competitor in the MAC this season.

The question remains whether they will have a defensive prowess this season. They have a new coach and so far they have been giving up lots of yards and points in their games against FBS competition.

One thing that will be tested this weekend for sure is their run defense. Against their previous opponents they were getting absolutely torched through the air – to the tune of more than 400ypg. Wisconsin has struggled to find their passing game so far this season so the secondary might breathe a sigh of relief. They won’t have the day off though because BGSU is going to need them in some serious run support to have a chance.

Wisconsin

There is no other way to call it – the Badgers squandered an opportunity the first week of the season against LSU.  I don’t want to say they blew it because it was a loss to LSU but the game was theirs if they just could have put together some sense of a passing game.

Since then they have only beaten Western Illinois, a game which didn’t exactly smooth over the hurt because it took them a half to really get going and Melvin Gordon, their star was a complete non factor.

The Badgers have not been looking great but they have a couple of games to tune things up before they start their B10 schedule at Northwestern in October.

The league has been getting a lot of flack this season and deservedly so. One of the reasons is that this team is probably not as good as recent versions.

A nice blowout could be just what the doctor ordered. They are going to need a few of them if they are going to make that one loss stick.

NCAA Football Week 4 Prediction: 4* Free Play on Bowling Green +27

I know the Bowling Green defense has been terrible this season but this is not a vintage Wisconsin team so I am leery about spotting so many points.

NCAAF Score prediction:  Wisconsin 42 – Bowling Green 21

I saw go with the underdogs in this or pass.
