Utah managed to win in similar fashion. It took down the Stanford Cardinal in double overtime, 20-17.
Arizona
Arizona is no stranger to close contests. The Wildcats’ most recent matchup with the Washington Huskies epitomizes that notion, which has prepared them for their two tough opponents in Utah and Arizona State to close out the year.

Entering this matchup, the Wildcats are 26th in the nation in points per game. They’re averaging 35.6 points per contest, which makes up for the fact that they’re 61st in points allowed (although, 26.1 points per game allowed is far from the worst mark in the country).
On offense, the attack has been fairly balanced, but with an emphasis on success through the air. The team is 48th in rushing, accumulating 185.5 yards per game in that category. The team is 14th in passing, gaining 306.7 yards per game through the air.
Utah
The Utes relied on a solid defensive showing to get to overtime last week against the Stanford Cardinal. Then they relied on a solid offensive performance in extra time to pull out the win.

Against Arizona, Utah enters 7-3 straight up, but just 3-6 SU and ATS in its past nine outings at Rice-Eccles Stadium against Pac-12 teams. The team will look to improve that mark against Arizona, who is 5-2 ATS in its last seven.
So far this season, the Utes are 54th in points scored 31.4 PPG) and 43rd in points allowed (23.8 PPG).

Both will look to disrupt the passing attack, which benefits the Utes, as Arizona relies heavily on the passing game.
