2010 Bowls + BCS Championship – Alabama vs. Texas

2009-10 bowl schedule from capperspicks.com. The 2009-10 bowl season starts in Albuquerque, N.M., and ends in Pasadena, Calif….

Alabama vs. Texas BCS Title Matchup

All I really want to ask though is anything really FAIR when it comes to the BCS?

And this folks is why College basketball is better than college football. The gap between Texas and TCU was too great. Throw in the fact that Texas played a much harder schedule than TCU and they’re spot in the championship game is well deserved.

LOOKING FOR THE BEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL CAPPERS??? —–>

We get to see Texas and Alabama, who meet for the first time since the 1982 Cotton Bowl.

Here then are the 2010 BCS Matchups for the College football post-season.

BCS Championship Game – Alabama vs. Texas

A Jan. 7 game between undefeated teams that will bring together Heisman Trophy hopefuls Colt McCoy of the Longhorns and Mark Ingram of the Crimson Tide.

FIESTA BOWL: TCU vs. Boise State

No. 3 TCU and No. 6 Boise State will meet in the Fiesta Bowl, marking the first time a BCS game other than the championship game had a matchup of unbeaten teams.

SUGAR BOWL: Florida vs. Cincinnati

After missing a shot at the national title by the slimmest of margins, the No. 4 Bearcats will play fifth-ranked Florida in the 76th Sugar Bowl.

ROSE BOWL: Oregon vs. Ohio State

The Big Ten champ Buckeyes will meet the Pac-10 champ Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1 in a pleasantly traditional finish to two outstanding seasons.

ORANGE BOWL: Iowa vs. Georgia Tech

#10 Iowa (10-2) will face #9 Georgia Tech (11-2) in the Orange Bowl on Jan. 5 in South Florida, a matchup of the Hawkeyes’ 11th-ranked defense against the Yellow Jackets’ 11th-ranked offense.

Thanks for the comprehensive bowl schedule has it will come in handy since I do not recognize half the names that are currently being used,

I remember the days of the Peach, Orange, Sugar, Cotton, Rose, and Tangerine Bowls

Really looking forward to the BCS title game. The Rose and Fiesto Bowl should be good too. Winnners: Bama, Boise and and the Ducks.
