Big Ten Battle – Wolverines at Nittany Lions

The Michigan Wolverines (13-5 SU, 7-5-1 ATS, 7-5 O/U) have dropped two consecutive games in the BetUS Sportsbook including a dismal 65-58 loss to Ohio State on Saturday in which they failed to cover the spread as 5.5-point home favorites in the BetUS Sportsbook. The Penn State Nittany Lions (14-5 SU, 8-3-1 ATS, 5-7 O/U) snapped a two-game losing streak their last time out, beating the Indiana Hoosiers 65-55 on Saturday to cover the spread for BetUS NCAA college basketball sports betting backers as 4-point road favorites.

Tonight, both teams will be gunning for a victory when they meet at Bryce Jordan Center.

The Wolverines got a team-high 21 points from sophomore shooting guard Manny Harris, but the team shot a tepid 35.7 percent from the field while allowing the Buckeyes to drain a blistering 54.5 percent of their collective shots.

Penn State jumped out to an eight point lead they never relinquished as sophomore point guard Stanley Pringle led the way with 19 points while senior forward Jamelle Cornley added 17 points in the win.

Here is a look at tonight’s key trends, followed by my in-depth analysis and NCAAB Free Pick.

NCAAB Odds

Michigan +3 -110
Penn State -3 -110

Over 134½ -110
Under 134½ -110

Analysis: The young Michigan Wolverines are just 2-4 ATS in their last five while Penn State has gone an impressive 4-1-1 ATS over the same span. The Lions are the right pick for this contest with a point spread that isn’t too high while playing a young team at home that is still trying to find its way.

Take the Nittany Lions to win and cover at home BetUS NCAA college basketball sports betting fanatics. With both teams allowing just about 63 points per game defensively, I also like the Under tonight.
