State bragging rights are on the line tonight when the Kansas Jayhawks tangle with the Kansas State Wildcats in this Big 12 showdown. Tip-off from Manhattan is set for 9 p.m. (ET) and the game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.

Kansas will most likely be the new No.1 team in the country by the time this game tips off with its 89-66 win over Iowa State this past Saturday as a 19 ½-point home favorite, combined with Ohio State’s loss to Wisconsin. The Jayhawks are 24-1 straight-up overall (13-10 against the spread) and 9-1 SU in the Big 12.

The Morris twins, Marcus and Markieff continue to lead the way for Kansas, combining for over 30 points and 15 rebounds a game. The Jayhawks are ranked first in the country in field goal percentage, shooting an amazing 52.3 percent and sixth in scoring with an average of 84 points a game.

Kansas State is coming off a 58-56 loss to Colorado this past Saturday as a one-point road underdog after beating Iowa State 86-85 as a 3 ½-point road favorite on Feb.5. The Wildcats are 16-9 SU overall but just 6-13 ATS. They are tied for seventh-place in the conference at 4-6 SU.

Jacob Pullen leads the team with 18 points and 3.7 assists per game and Rodney McGruder is averaging a team-high 6.4 rebounds and is the second leading scorer with 11 points a game. Kansas State is shooting 43.1 percent from the floor while averaging 73 points and 39 rebounds a game.

The Jayhawks have won nine of the last 10 meetings SU and are 6-1 ATS in the last seven including a 90-66 win at home on Jan.29. Kansas State should be much more competitive this time around on its own home court, but the Wildcats will not be able to keep this game closer than six points.

Under is 8-2 in KANST last 10 home games.
