The Alabama Crimson Tide will belooking to increase their lead in the division with a victory over the LSU Tigers in a SEC-West clash this Thursday night in Baton Rouge. Game time is set for 9 p.m. (ET) and it will be broadcast on ESPN.

Alabama has yet to crack the top 25 this season, but it has won 11 of its last 13 games including a 74-64 victory over Mississippi last Saturday as a 6 1/1-point home favorite. The Crimson Tide are now 16-8 straight-up overall (11-9 against the spread) and firmly in control of the SEC-West at 8-2 SU.

JaMychal Green and Tony Mitchell are each averaging 16 points and over seven rebounds a game to lead the Tide. Trevor Releford leads the team in assists with 3.6 a game and is third in scoring with 10.1 points. Alabama is averaging 69 points and 38 rebounds a game.

An 80-61 loss to Arkansas this past Saturday as a 9 ½-point road underdog ran LSU’s current losing streak to eight games. The Tigers have won just twice in their last 11 games to fall to 10-15 SU and 9-10-1 ATS. They are currently tied for last place in the conference at 2-8 SU.

Ralston Turner and Andre Stringer are the only two players scoring in double-figures with each averaging 12.2 points a game. The Tigers are shooting just 40 percent from the field and 31.9 percent from three-point range. They are averaging 63 points a game and pulling down 36 rebounds.

Alabama already crushed this team 70-46 back in January as a 13 ½-point home favorite and while the Tide will probably not win as a big on the road, they will still cover the 9 ½-point spread.
