Indiana

A win over Michigan might put them back on the bubble if they can win some games in the B10 Conference tournament but an upset of that proportion seems unlikely given that the Hoosiers have only won two league road games all season.

Indiana PF Noah Vonleh has a pro body but he needs to work on consistency. Coming into this one he is still a little dinged up but will probably play. When he is not on the floor the Hoosiers are not great on the board and their scoring options are limited to Yogi Ferrell and Will Sheehey.

That puts a lot of pressure on Ferrell who is the only Hoosier who creates well off the dribble.

If Vonleh was healthy I might be inclined to go with Indiana and that nice large cushion of 10.5 points. The Hoosiers are the more desperate team but I am not sure they have the horses to push Michigan hard enough without some form of inside production.

Watch this number if it keeps going up then maybe invest a little with IU.

Michigan

Its hard to believe that Michigan could play the entire B10 season without Mitch McGary and still win the league by a couple of games.

Things definitely did not look very rosy when the New Year began but this team has been resilient and thought they might be a long shot to make it all the way back to the title game I don’t see them making an early exit either.

Nik Stauskas may be the best shooter in America.

He has had a pretty good regular season by showing he can be more than just a spot up shooter though and that is what makes the Michigan offense go. Big Blue is still waiting for a light to to on for Glenn Robinson III but in his current form he makes for a pretty good secondary scoring option and with Caris Levert the Wolverines are loaded on the perimeter.

I don’t like to give up this much chalk in a game that is essentially meaningless – win or lose the Wolverines take the regular season title. With it being the final home game too there could be some players who see more action than is normally justified.

I think staying away from Big Blue is the smart way to go.
