The Razorbacks are in the discussion of who is the second best team in the SEC after losing the conference title game to Kentucky and finishing second during the regular season – my money is on LSU.

Arkansas is not quite back to its 40 Minutes of Hell days but it likes to push the tempo and has some very gifted players that fit well in their system.
If they get rolling this one could be an ugly blowout even though Wofford is a pretty steady team. These schools actually met in the nonconference in 2007.
This definitely looks like a game where top Hog Bobby Portis should dominate. One of the more skilled big men in the country he should be able to get his average of 17ppg or more unless the game gets out of hand.

Michael Qualls may come off the bench often but the high flyer is one of the Razorbacks better players. If they go on a run in the tournament he will be featured on highlight reels for sure.
I am not sure Wofford has anyone with his level of athleticism.
Wofford
The Terriers earned their spot in the tournament by taking the Southern Conference regular season and tournament titles.
This is their second year in the Big Dance in a row and they have qualified two other times – they have never won a game in the NCAAs. Wofford is one of the top defensive teams in the country giving up less than 60ppg.
That is going to be a tough virtue to maintain as they face a Major Conference team.
The Terriers beat NC State this season holding them to just 55 points. Other games against high level competition were not close.
This is Wofford’s 20th season and they have never won more games thanks to Karl Cochran who leads the team in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and blocks. Pretty impressive given that he is only 6’1”.
For Wofford to have a chance they have to come up with a way to match the size of Portis. It is really going to be a challenge given that nobody on the roster is taller than 6’7”.

This is not a good matchup for the Terriers.
