Utah
I am still not totally sold on Utah but it is hard to argue with the results we are seeing, like beatdowns of Colorado and UCLA last week.
The Utes are among the strongest defensive teams in the country and when the opportunities present themselves they can score too.

Right now they are at the top of the PAC12 standings, a position that is unlikely to change until they play games against Arizona.
One of those is looming on Saturday so Utah needs to be careful to not look too far ahead.
Delon Wright has to be in the running for player of the year.
His number don’t jump off the page but he leads the team in points assists and steals and if you watch a game he is in full command throughout.

As good as he has been the reason the Utes are in the top 10 has been the support he has received from freshman Jacob Poetl and Jordan Loveridge upon returning to the lineup.
Arizona State
The Sun Devils are 8-8 with all of their wins coming at home this season.
Lucky for them this is where they will be taking on the suddenly Top 10 Utes, but it will still be a challenge to get this quality win.
The last win for ASU was over Harvard, a team pretty similar to Utah in their approach.
Last season the Sun Devils split their games with Utah, both sides winning on their home floor. Since the Utes joined the PAC10 they have covered six straight against ASU.
That is going to be a tough streak to break.
ASU is pretty balanced with 4 players averaging about 10/11ppg.
Shaquielle McKissic has got off to a good start, improving on his frosh numbers and junior Eric Jacobsen provides some much needed size and production inside.

Against light competition the Sun Devils do OK but now that they are in league play the wins are going to be hard to come by, as has been proven already.
