Tuesday NBA odds: Oklahoma City Thunder vs Utah Jazz

Team records:
San Antonio: 48-29 SU, 42-34-1 ATS
Phoenix: 50-27 SU, 44-31-2 ATS

With a handful of games remaining on the NBA schedule, the Western Conference playoff field has been determined—but seeding remains murky. Both Phoenix and San Antonio are hunting for home-court advantage, and they tip off Wednesday night. Sportsbooks have the hometown Suns are a seven-point favorite on NBA odds.

Matchup: Spurs at Suns

Time: 10:30 p.m. ET
Venue: US Airways Center
Spread: Phoenix -7
Over/Under: 209.5

After a brief hiccup in mid-March, the Thunder (48-28, 45-31 ATS) are back on track. Oklahoma City is 6-1 in its past seven games, including a four-game winning streak. The Thunder topped Minnesota 116-108 on Sunday. Oklahoma failed to cover the spread in that game but is a solid 5-2 in its last seven games on NBA odds. The Thunder are 6-4 ATS in their past 10 games away from home, including three straight road victories against the spread.

Oklahoma City’s offense has exploded. The Thunder are averaging 114.3 points per game during their current winning streak and, not surprisingly, Kevin Durant is prominently involved; he dropped 40 points on the Timberwolves to break the team scoring record. Jeff Green is also playing exceptionally well—he’s averaged 17.8 points per game during the streak and burned Minny for 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Utah (50-27, 47-27-3 ATS) had a three-game winning streak snapped by the Lakers last Friday. Despite the 106-92 loss, the Jazz are 6-2 in their past eight games. Utah has been inconsistent on NBA odds over the last week or so, alternating wins and losses but covering just two of its last five games. Still, Utah is 6-4 against the spread in its last 10 games. The team has dominated at EnergySolutions Arena, though—Utah is 8-2 against the spread in its last 10 home games. Online Sports Betting at Sportsbook

Carlos Boozer is on a tear for Utah. He’s averaged 23.0 points and 13.2 rebounds per game in his last five contests and has picked up a double-double in six consecutive games. Boozer posted 20 points and 18 rebounds in the loss to Los Angeles. Deron Williams is enjoying a similar run; he’s racked up a double-double in seven of his last eight contests, including 20 points and 10 assists against the Lakers.

Oklahoma City has won three straight games over Utah, covering two of them. The Thunder came out on top of a 119-111 barnburner in mid-March. Russell Westbrook led Oklahoma with 30 points and 11 assists. Deron Williams matched him with 27 points and 14 assists.

Thunder vs Jazz Free NBA Pick: These are two good teams that could face each other in the playoffs. Recent history has favored Oklahoma City, but the Jazz are playing exceptionally well at home. Take Utah in a nailbiter.
