ATS Matchup Insight | CappersPicks Insider Preview

The Clippers are coming off a win in their last game when they beat the Timberwolves in a thriller, 109-107, their second win in a row, a streak which has the team above .500 on the year.

Not surprisingly, point guard Chris Paul and power forward Blake Griffin led the way with double-doubles apiece. Paul scored 21 points and added 11 assists, while Griffin scored 25 and added 10 boards. DeAndre Jordan also had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. The team shot an impressive 55 percent from the field, but will need to work on their shooting from the charity stripe after converting only 61 percent of their chances from the line.

As good a show as Lob City put on, the team had a major problem containing Minnesota’s top offensive weapons. Kevin Martin scored 30 points, Nikola Pekovic racked up 25 points and 10 rebounds, while the biggest night belonged to power forward Kevin Love, who compiled 23 points, 19 rebounds, and seven assists, even getting a crack at a potential game-tying

Oklahoma City won a thriller of their own in their last game, beating Washington 106-105 in overtime on Saturday. Point guard Russell Westbrook continues to defy logic, playing 30 minutes in the game, putting up 13 points and four assists with four rebounds. Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka each put up a whopping 46 minutes. Durant racked up 33 points and 13 rebounds with six assists, and Ibaka scored 25 with 13 boards. The team outrebounded the Wizards 58-41, including a 16-7 edge on the offensive glass.

Defensively, the Thunder had plenty of trouble guarding the three-point line, allowing the Wizards to connect on 12-of-29 shots from long distance for a conversion rate of 41 percent. Wizards guard Bradley Beal was also allowed to put up 34 points in 42 minutes.

The Clippers’ 5-3 record is not all that impressive, but the team has won all three of their home games so far this season. Even with that being said, Oklahoma City is clicking on all cylinders right now, so it is hard to go against them, but with a Thursday night showdown in Golden State looming for the Thunder, the look ahead factor could pose an issue.

The Clippers are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games.

The play: Los Angeles +3
