Last season the Clippers ousted the Warriors from the playoffs in a tough 7-game series and in the first meeting this season Golden State is the 3-point home betting favorite.

The Warriors are off to their best start in 20 years and they were impressive in their last game holding the Blazers to 90 points. While the Clippers are 3-1 they have yet to cover the spread this season.
The Warriors are known for their offense with the likes of Stephen Curry and Klay Thomson, but so far this season they are playing great defense ranking 2nd in the league in opponents’ points allowed. Still, their offense is still legit and they rank 4th in the league in scoring.
It is no surprise that to stop the Warriors you have to try to contain Curry and Thomson, who leads the league in scoring, and this duo is averaging 55 ppg.
The Clippers only rank 30th in the league in rebounding and that is not good since David Lee is expected to make his season debut tonight after missing the first games with an injury.
DeAndre Jordan is averaging nearly 10 rpg, but his scoring is down only averaging 7.8 ppg. He needs to chime in on offense to help out Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, who is coming off a triple double in his last game.
While the Warriors have been solid on defense the same cannot be said about the Clippers, who rank 18th in the league in opponents’ points allowed.

Stopping Griffin will be the key for the Warriors, as when he scored 30 or more points facing Golden State the Clip Joint was 3-0.
