Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat Preview

On the season the Bulls are 36-42 ATS and they have an O/U record of 39-38-1 and the Heat are 33-41-4 ATS and they have an O/U record of 34-44.

This season the Heat are 19-19 at home and the Bulls are 21-17 on the road.

In their last games the Heat beat the Charlotte Hornets 105-100 and the Bulls lost to the Orlando Magic 105-103.

The Heat have lost 7 of their last 9 games and now they are on the outside of the playoff picture looking in. In the logjam of the Eastern Conference Miami is tied with the Pacers 1 game back of the Nets and Celtics for the 8th spot in the conference. However, they are coming off a win, have won 9 of their last 11 home games, and are a slight home favorite over the Bulls, who are coming off a loss.

The Bulls lost their last game to a weak Orlando team. In the game Chicago gave up 105 points to a Magic team that only ranks 25th in the league in scoring.

The Bulls have lost 3 straight road games.

Derrick Rose is back for the Bulls and in the Orlando game he played 19 minutes and scored 9 points in 3/9 shooting.

The Heat have a legit defense ranking 7th in the league in opponents’ points allowed and they have to play solid D, as they only rank 28th in the league in ppg.

Miami snapped their 4-game losing streak with their win over the Hornets.

Goran Dragic scored 28 points in the Heat’s last game and he and Dwyane Wade are the 2 players the Bulls and their 11th ranked defense have to worry about.

These 2 teams have met twice this season and the road team has won each time.

Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah are a solid frontcourt duo for the Bulls and the Heat have to keep them from dominating the glass.
