Los Angeles (24-46) is riding a three-game win streak after pasting the Knicks, 127-96 on Tuesday in New York.

Los Angles’ reserves carried the load, as Xavier Henry scored 22 points off the bench, while LA set a franchise record with a 51-points in the third quarter.

Fellow reserves Nick Young poured in 20 points and Kent Bazemore finished with 18 for the Lakers, who were 18-of-28 from 3-point range.

It was a season- best for points scored, despite the absence of Lakers’ center Pau Gasol, who missed the contest.

Meanwhile, the Bucks (13-58) are the worst team in the NBA and added to their eight game skid with a 106-98 loss to the Clippers last time out.

Ramon Sessions scored a season-high 28 points to go with seven assists, while Jeff Adrien and Zaza Pachulia added 14 points apiece.

The only good thing in this one, was that the Bucks were within four points with a little over three minutes remaining before slipping to a nine-point deficit less than a minute and a half later. Milwaukee was unable to make a late charge while dropping to 5-31 on the road.

Milwaukee was without the services of forward Ersan Ilyasova, who was rested in the second contest of a back-to-back set.

Matt’s Prediction:

The Lakers are just 11-24 on the road, but the Bucks are even worse at home, posting a dismal 8-27 record.

While I am pretty sure that the Lakers win this one straight up, depending on the spread, I may take the Bucks and the points here if it’s more than 12.

Oddsmakers have set some pretty big spreads for Milwaukee over the past few games, and there seems to be some value as they have finished closer than predicted.

Lakers 104, Bucks 93
