This series remains in Atlanta as the #3 seed Hawks host #2 seed Orlando Magic for game four of their best-of-seven series in the semifinals of the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs with tip-off scheduled for 8:00 P.M.

Matchup: Hawks vs Magic

Time: Saturday May 8th 5:00 P.M. (ET)
Venue: Philips Arena
Spread: Orlando -6.5 (-110), Atlanta +6.5 (-110)
Total (Over/Under): 193

Orlando has been near perfect since these playoff began, reeling off seven straight victories by an average margin of nine points over Charlotte and a ridiculous 29 points in the three games against Atlanta.

None of these three games have ever been close as the Magic have completely dominated the Hawks in every possible phase.

Despite the fact that game three was played in Atlanta, where the Hawks have won 83% of the time, Orlando was able to open up a 19 point lead at the half on their way to a 105-75 win on Saturday.

The closest this game ever got was an 11-11 tie with less than seven minutes left in the first quarter. This was followed by a 17-7 run that put the Magic up for good.

In this series Orlando has shot .529 from the field and .373 from three point range. They are shooting .691 from the foul line and averaging 110 points a game. Dwight Howard is averaging 26.7 points and 15 rebounds per game.

Vince Carter and Rashard Lewis are averaging 17 points a game and Jameer Nelson is averaging 18. Online Sports Betting at Sportsbook

While you cannot deny that Orlando has played incredible so far, much of Atlanta’s problem in this series has been self inflicted. Their leading scorer, Joe Johnson is shooting .286 from the field and averaging just 12.3 points per game. Jamal Crawford has not been much better, averaging .333 from the field and 16.7 points per game.

They have looked completely out of sync on both offense and defense as Orlando has moved up and down the court with relative ease in all three games.

Atlanta’s only chance to avoiding a four game sweep is to try and slow tonight’s game down to a pace that they can manage. If they fall behind early, as they have in the other three games, it will be almost impossible to recover against a vastly better team.

Unfortunately in the recent past they have yet to find a way to accomplish, losing nine out of their last 10 against the Magic.

There is just too much blood in the water for Orlando to allow this series to continue on. Atlanta has showed no sign they have the ability to slow this team down and tonight should be no different.

The Magic punch their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals with another convincing win.
