Lebron James will face his former team when the Heat (11-3) arrive in Cleveland riding a seven-game winning streak after King James poured in 35 points to led his team to a 107-92 triumph over Phoenix on Monday.

It was James’ 509th straight game of double-digit scoring performances — the fifth-longest run in NBA history.

Teammate Dwyane Wade also pitched in, adding 21 points and 12 assists —  his highest total since dishing out 12 in a win over the New Jersey Nets on March 22, 2010 — while combining with James to hit 20-of-27 shots.

It was the fifth time that Miami has prevailed by double digits during its red-hot streak.

The Miami reserves also contributed, as Michael Beasley and Ray Allen knocked down some buckets in the final quarter to extend the Heats lead  to 14.

One area for concern for James however is turnovers. He has committed three or more turnovers in nine consecutive games, finishing with four on Monday, all of them coming in the first half.

Meanwhile, the Cavs (4-10) have lost three straight and six of their last seven. Their last, a 126-96 pounding at the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.

Danny Green nearly single handedly beat Cleveland going 5-of-7 from 3-point range en route to 17 points as the Spurs pushed their winning streak to 10.

The bench got in on the action as well, as Patty Mills scored 15, while the Spurs had 11 players score at least eight points.

It was a long night for Andrew Bynum, who led the Cavs with 16 points.

The loss dropped Cleveland to 1-8 on the road, but the good news was that rookie Matthew Dellavedova reached double figures for the first time in his career with 14.

The  Spurs settled for a 65-32 gap at the break, as the Cavs went a miserable 5-for-23 in the second quarter.

Cleveland did however, pick up some offense in the third but did not do much to improve the defense and went into the fourth trailing 96-67 .

The Spurs’ 33-point halftime advantage was the largest in any NBA game at the break this season.

Matt’s Prediction:

The Heat are on fire and the Cavs are stone cold.

I expect Miami’s third best offense to wreck havoc on the Cleveland defense, which has allowed an average of 102 points per game this season.

Miami 106, Cleveland 90
