The Kings come in following a dominating performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Dallas

Dallas was completely dominated and embarrassed in their most recent outing in Los Angeles.

The Clippers dropped 120 on the Mavs, who have been struggling on the defensive end of the floor. Dallas will look to avoid losing for a 3rd straight time on Tuesday, which would be a season high losing streak.

Dallas currently sits in one of the toughest divisions in the NBA. The Southwest Division’s top 4 teams are separated by just 4 games. Dallas sits in 3rd place, .5 game behind Memphis for 2nd, and a full game behind Houston for first. In a packed Western Conference, Dallas holds the 5th spot by just one game.

Dallas is one of the best scoring teams in the NBA with 108.8 points a game (2nd), but is currently allowing 102.5 points a game (23rd). The inconsistency on the defensive end has led to lack of clutch defensive stops and typically puts Dallas into shootout type games. They’ve allowed 108 to the Pistons and 120 to the Clippers during this 2 game losing streak.

Dallas brings a 13-6 S.U. road record into Tuesday’s contest. In those 19 road contests, Dallas is 12-7 ATS.

Sacramento

Even though the Kings sit 14.5 games off of 1st place in the Pacific Division, they sit just 4.5 games behind a playoff spot in the Western Conference. Coming off one of their most impressive showings of the season, Sacramento looks to build off their 103-84 beat down of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In the victory, DeMarcus Cousins scored 26 points and 13 rebounds. On the season, Cousins is averaging 23.9 points and 12.3 rebounds a game. In his last six home games, Cousins is scoring 29.3 points a game. The Kings seem to roll when he’s going as they have won 8 of 11 when he totals over 25 points. His dominating play has kept Sacramento relevant for the time being.

Adding to Cousins numbers is Darren Collison. Collison is scoring 16.6 points a game along with 6.0 assists. He’s scored 15 points or more in 11 of his last 12 games.

Sacramento has played the better portion of their basketball at home this season where they are 10-11 S.U.

NBA Basketball Trends:

  • Mavericks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
  • Mavericks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.
  • Mavericks are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 Tuesday games.
  • Kings are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Tuesday games.
  • Kings are 3-10-2 ATS in their last 15 home games.

Free 4* NBA Basketball Pick: Dallas -5

The Kings have showed inconsistency throughout the whole season. They seem to struggle at building off wins as they cannot put long win streaks together. On the flip side of things, Dallas is in need of a win. They’ve looked poor in their last two games and need a complete performance.

Dallas 108, Sacramento 98

With their recent success against the Kings, expect a big game from Dirk en route to a win.
