Lebron may want to do the same thing prior to Game Three as Cleveland steamrolled Chicago from start to finish to even up the series as they head back to Chicago. Now, it’s the Bulls turn to hold down home court advantage as they look to get the momentum back in front of their home fans.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Lebron James and Kyrie Irving knew their game one performance was way below the standards that they both live up to. They took that performance personally and came out with a statement game in Game Two as they dominated Chicago in every aspect of the game right from the opening tip. Now, with the series deadlocked at one, they’ll look to steal back home court advantage.

Cleveland will finally get some good news as far as depth is concerned as J.R. Smith returns from his 2 game suspension. Smith’s presence was especially missed in Game One and his return could be at the best time as Iman Shumpert is now questionable for Game Three.

Shumpert injured his groin and walked to the locked room in the Game Two win. Shumpert will go through shoot around Friday morning and then see how his groin feels. Shumpert’s status will be very important as they’ll need not only his defensive presence, but the Cavs would then have to turn to some bench players who cannot be trusted.

Lebron will look to have a similar performance in Game Three as he went for 33 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists in Game Two.

Chicago Bulls

Chicago wasn’t satisfied after Game Two even though they had home court advantage stolen. Their lackluster Game Two kept the Cavaliers in the series and they’ll now have to deal with a Cavs team that has all their momentum back.

That doesn’t mean they’re going to just lay down though. Derrick Rose and company are ready for the challenge and excited to get back inside the United Center for Game Three where they know the place will be loud.

A main key in the Game Two loss was Pau Gasol unable to get going. He dominated Game one, but scored just 11 points in Game Two.

Rose will also look to bounce back as he struggled mightily going 6 of 20 from the field. In the Bulls last two home games, Rose has shot just 9 of 34 from the field.

PG Aaron Brooks has been a struggled off the bench as of late as he went 1 of 8 from the field in Game Two and has shot 9 of 30 in his last 6 games. His struggles have given the Bulls a lack of trusted depth.
