Denver
The Nuggets dropped below .500 with a loss to Atlanta yesterday.
They got down early in the game and never really were in it as they picked up their second loss in a row on this road trip – third overall. The Nuggets are a team that is all about flow.

They have to make shots in rhythm because they just don’t have the offensive players who can break you down one on one.
They would prefer to keep the pace of the game fast and emphasize the depth they have.
Even though they lost yesterday Ty Lawson played 43 minutes so it stands that he could be a little burnt out on the second day of a back to back.

If that is the case it is going to be very hard for the Nuggets to stay in this one. Toronto is good at home and quite frankly has more quality depth than Denver.
To even things up the Nuggets are going to have to make a lot of perimeter shots.
Toronto
The Raptors play has been uneven since Demar Derozan went down with an injury against Dallas.
Since then they have split games losing to the Lakers and Cavs while hammering the Kings and Jazz. They are looking to get back to winning on Monday with the Nuggets coming to town.This is an interesting matchup for the Raptors because Denver is also a team with a lot of depth.
These are two high scoring teams so it will be interesting to see how Toronto approaches this one.
With Demar out even more of the responsibility has fallen to Kyle Lowry.

Thanks to some big games this week Lowry has pushed his average over 20ppg but really we works better as a complimentary scorer who makes big shots than a go to guy all game long.
Key to the Raptors now is the play of Terrence Ross.
When he is active and engaged they are very tough to beat.
