Atlanta Hawks vs. Indiana Pacers Game 7 Gambling Odds & NBA Free Prediction

Hawks vs Pacers NBA Picks

The Hawks are on the edge of becoming a special story or just another footnote of teams that got close but no cigar. They blew the chance to close out the series at home and now have to enter one of the toughest arenas in the league to win in for game 7. [ad-4468020]

Atlanta

Instinct says the Hawks should falter but they have had succes on the road in the playoffs thus far. If they can put pressure on the Pacers again maybe they will fold.

When the Hawks have been losing it has been because their shooting has been very poor.

They shot under 40% in G6 with only a few players scoring in double figures. For the Hawks it at least was a positive to see Jeff Teague be a factor – he was the leading scorer in the game with 29.

They are probably going to need him in a similar fashion in this one while hoping that somebody else also doesn’t want to see their season end.

I really want to see this upset but you have to bet with your head, right? When Indiana has won they have been winning by this margin or more so you have to ask yourself whether you really think Atlanta has one more in them.

I am not sure I would want to put my money behind that outcome.

Indiana

For all the venom thrown their way the Pacers are at home with a chance to close out their first round series.

Sure it probably shouldn’t have taken this many games to get there but if they win they will avoid being a footnote in playoff history and you have to like their chances against Washington, just a little.

The Pacers have certainly bent but they have yet to break.

Can they gut out another one.

David West had his best game of the series with 24 points and 11 boards in another no show performance by Roy Hibbert. I admit I have not been watching every minute of every game but I just don’t understand why he has been such a non factor in this series.

The Pacers were a little top heavy in G6 getting only 12 points from the bench. Paul George had another pretty good game and if he is truly a star he will have another one.

I do not think this will be a close one.

If the Pacers play well they will crush Atlanta in a way that will make you think they just were not motivated. On the other hand if they fall apart like they have so many times over the last couple of months Atlanta could easily win and complete this story.

Spread prediction: Indiana -6
