Cleveland Cavaliers 11/5

It took a while for LeBron James to make himself comfortable in his old surroundings in Cleveland, but once the Cavaliers finally found their form they have easily been the most dominant team in the East from mid-January on.

They head into their final regular season game of the year against Washington with straight-up record of 15-4 in their last 19 games while continually resting starters in their last few games. They have not been the best team to bet on lately with a 2-6 record against the spread in their last eight contests, but that should change come playoff time.

Golden State Warriors 9/5

The Warriors got off to a blazing start this season and it has basically lapped the field in the West with a NBA-best record of 66-15 that is 10.5 games ahead of the nearest team. They have also been profitable ATS with a record of 47-33-1 heading into their season finale at home against Denver. Not only has Golden State won the majority of the games it has played, it has done it in a highly entertaining fashion with an average of 109.7 points per game, which is tops in the league.

San Antonio Spurs 8/1

The defending champs flew pretty low under the radar for much of the season, but once the Spurs’ annual rodeo road trip was in the books, they got down to the serious business of preparing for another deep run in the playoffs towards a second-straight title. Heading into its season finale against New Orleans on the road, San Antonio has reeled-off 11 SU wins as part of an overall record of 21-3 in its last 24 outings. It has failed to cover in its last two contests after going 12-1 ATS in its previous 13 games.

Chicago Bulls 15/1

It has been an up and down ride for the Bulls all season long as they dealt with one injury situation after another, but they suddenly have gotten healthy to find their form at the right time of the year. Chicago will close things out at home against Atlanta with a 7-3 SU record in its last 10 games which helped to lock-up home court advantage for the opening round of the playoffs.

The key to a long run in the postseason could hinge on how well Derrick Rose can hold-up through these grueling best-of-seven series.
