Quick article by Dave Schwab detailing the San Antonio Spurs 2011 Season win total odds for over under nba betting futures and a season wins prediction…

San Antonio Spurs – NBA Season Preview

There will always be those people that call San Antonio too old, but they have definitely added some young pieces this season. Two rookies that bring youthful legs look to energize this aging club. Cory Joseph out of Texas, and Kawhi Leonard from San Diego State.

Another year, another good season on the horizon for the Spurs.

Odds to win:
Title : 25/1
Conference : 11/1
Division : 2/1

The Spurs will also be looking for improvements from James Anderson. Even though he was viewed as one of the more NBA-ready players in the draft a year ago, he wasn’t used all that much last year, but does possess all of the tools to make an impact in the league, and he will look to prove that this season.

When you look at all of those youthful pieces, you can’t help but be excited.

Then you have the usual suspects as well. Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Richard Jefferson, and Tim Duncan. With those four, you basically know what you are going to get.

DaJuan Blair will likely be the man that fills the number four role full time as well this season.

Since his arrival to the NBA, he has been one of the best offensive rebounders in the league. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

San Antonio will look for a couple of other veterans to pitch in at times as well. Spur mainstay Matt Bonner will be there to provide his clutch outside shooting for the sixth straight season.

Then you have T.J. Ford who will play his first season with the team this year. His job will be in relief of Parker for the most part. This is a very underrated pickup. Ford still has the ability to play this game at a high level in spurts.

The Spurs are going to have their work cut out for them this season if they are going to get back on top in their division though. They will have to climb over the defending champion Dallas Mavericks if they wish to claim the Southwest this season.

San Antonio’s key factor this season will be the health of their three main players. Parker, Ginobili, and Duncan. They have each had their fair share of injuries the past couple of seasons. If they are able to avoid those this year, then this team is definitely a threat for the Southwest, the Conference, and maybe even the title.
