Last Sunday night at Atlanta, Kyle Busch posted his fourth point race victory of the season while both Joey Logano and Martin Truex Jr. helped their chance to make the Chase by taking second and third.

The following is a closer look at our favorite, contender, and longshot picks for Saturday night’s race with odds provided by Sportsbook. [ad-8757089]

The Favorite (odd of less than 10/1)

Matt Kenseth is one of three second-favorites listed at +700 to win this week, but our top choice to actually get it done. He has already secured a spot in this year’s Chase after winning five point-races and has kept the No. 20 car competitive all season long by leading a grand total of 1,144 laps over the course of the first 25 races.

Kenseth led 140 laps in the first race at Richmond this season and ended-up finishing seventh after starting on the pole. He came close to winning this race last season with a fifth-place finish after starting 17th.

The Contender (odds from 10/1 to 19/1)

Another driver that has secured a spot in the Chase is Kevin Harvick. He is currently in third-place in the Sprint Cup standings with 795 points on the strength of two victories and a total of 13 top-10 finishes.

What really adds a ton of value to his already surprising +1200 odds to win this race is that one of the No. 29 car’s wins this season came at this very track.

Harvick also won this race in 2011 and finished 10th in last year’s event. His average finishing position at Richmond is 11.3.

The Longshot (odds 20/1 or greater)

Martin Truex Jr. is not one of the household names in the Sprint Cup series, but he is on the verge of qualifying for the Chase with a strong showing on Saturday night.

He has been opened at +2000 to actually win this race, which would all but guarantee the No. 56 car a spot in the playoffs after winning a point race earlier this season at Sonoma.

Richmond has not been one of his better tracks over the course of his eight-year Sprint Cup career with an average finishing position of 23.7, but he does come into this race in excellent form with last week’s third-place finish at Atlanta.
