These are two teams that are absolutely capable of winning it all this postseason.

Let’s take a look at the third game of this key series.

Texas has back-to-back World Series appearances, but the team is certainly driven to finish their business and win the title. The Rangers are first in the majors in runs scored per game at 5.09 runs. They went through a brief lull in their offensive output a few weeks ago, but they seem to be rolling once again. Josh Hamilton leads the team with 32 homers and 99 RBI’s. Adrian Beltre has provided excellent protection in the order for Hamilton.

Beltre is hitting .303, and he has 65 RBI’s. Nelson Cruz is heating up substantially of late, and he is another major weapon for this offense. Scott Feldman is 6-7 with a 4.64 ERA this season. He has been inconsistent, and he’ll face a tough Yankees lineup here.  [dfads params=’groups=10&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

New York surprised the baseball world when they went out and traded for Ichiro Suzuki at the trade deadline. Ichiro has been a nice contributor to the team, and it has definitely made this an even more balanced offense. The Bronx Bombers now have a little more speed to keep the opposition honest.

Derek Jeter’s huge season has been key to the Yankees offensive success in 2012. Jeter is hitting .318 on the year. Robinson Cano started slowly, but he has been red hot most of the year.

Cano is hitting .313 with 25 homers and 68 RBI’s. Mark Teixeira leads the team with 77 RBI’s. Curtis Granderson leads the team with 30 homers. Freddy Garcia has been inconsistent, and he has a poor 5.88 ERA at home this season.

These two offenses can pile up the runs in bunches, and neither of these starters have looked good this season. Look for the scoreboard to be lit up in this one.
