Sunday, Sept. 27
Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens
The Over/Under Was Set At 38.5 || Result 37 UNDER
If the Browns had any kind of offense this game would have easily gone over. The Ravens scored 30+ points for the third straight week.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals
The Over/Under Was Set At 37 || Result 43 OVER
For the second week is a row the Bengals came from behind to pull off the upset. The game winning TD with 14 seconds left also pushed this game over 37.
Washington Redskins at Detroit Lions
The Over/Under Was Set At 38.5 || Result 33 UNDER
The Lions finally end their 19 game losing streak with a win over the ‘Skins. Washington’s offense has some serious problems, especially inside the red zone.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans
The Over/Under Was Set At 47.5 || Result 55 OVER
The Jaguars were finally able to generate some offense to get their first win. Houston is a hard team to figure out as they are very inconsistent.
San Francisco 49ers at Minnesota Vikings
The Over/Under Was Set At 39 || Result 41 OVER
Viking QB Brett Favre worked his magic to win the game in the last second with a desperation throw into the end zone that was snagged out the air by WR Greg Lewis.
Atlanta Falcons at New England Patriots
The Over/Under Was Set At 47 || Result 36 UNDER
The Patriots offense is not the same without WR Wes Welker, but Brady and Co. still found a way to get a win over a good Falcon team.
Kansas City Chiefs at Philadelphia Eagles
The Over/Under Was Set At 42 || Result 48 OVER
A cheap Chief’s TD late in the 4th quarter took this game total over as the Eagles’ defense kept the pressure on Cassel all game long.
Green Bay Packers at St. Louis Rams
The Over/Under Was Set At 41 || Result 53 OVER
The Rams were able to generate some offense for the first time all year, but turnovers proved to be very costly.
New York Giants at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Over/Under Was Set At 44.5 Result 24 UNDER
After the Buc’s scored 20+ points in their first two games, the Giants defense completely shut Tampa down as the under total was never in jeopardy.
New Orleans Saints at Buffalo Bills
The Over/Under Was Set At 52 || Result 34 UNDER
The Bills were able to slow the Saints down holding Brees to 172 passing yards. The problem is they gave up 222 yards on the ground as New Orleans marched through their defense.
Chicago Bears at Seattle Seahawks
The Over/Under Was Set At 37 || Result 44 OVER
Give the Seahawks credit for keeping this one close as they were missing quite a few starters including QB Matt Hasselbeck. Devin Hester was the big star for Chicago.
Tennessee Titans at New York Jets
The Over/Under Was Set At 37 || Result 41 OVER
The Jets defense came up big again shutting down Titans QB Kerry Collins in the second half of this game forcing him to throw 13 straight incomplete passes.
Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders
The Over/Under Was Set At 36.5 || Result 26 UNDER
Denver’s running game continues to look impressive as they amassed 215 yards on the ground against the Raiders. All the Broncos’ games have gone under so far this season.
Miami Dolphins at San Diego Chargers
The Over/Under Was Set At 44 || Result 36 UNDER
Miami not only loses their third straight, they lose QB Chad Pennington for the season. Look for the Dolphin’s offense to continue to struggle.
Indianapolis Colts at Arizona Cardinals
The Over/Under Was Set At 48.5 || Result 41 UNDER
Peyton Manning played true to his form but Kurt Warner did not, keeping this game total under. It is hard to know what to expect from the Cardinals this season.
Monday, Sept. 28
Carolina Panthers at Dallas Cowboys
The Over/Under Was Set At 47.5 || Result 28 UNDER
The Cowboys won this game on defense as Tony Romo and the Dallas offense continues to struggle.
Points seemed a bit harder to come by this week as the defensive coordinators now have enough tape on teams’ offenses to effectively scheme against them. Look for this trend to continue over the next week or two, until the offensive coordinators have time to throw a few more wrinkles into their game plan.
