The Spartans (14-10, 6-6) got their second win in seven games with a 75-57 victory over Penn State at home, and at this point, every one counts for Michigan State. Ohio State played as well as anyone has played in one of the toughest arenas in the country, and this game could have gone either way, but the Buckeyes can now play without the burden of chasing an undefeated season, and they’re still one of the teams we’d bet 5dimes on in the Tournament.
The NCAA basketball betting odds in this game will surely go towards the Buckeyes, and it may get even worse for the Spartans if Roe can’t suit up as he is their second-leading rebounder and best shotblocker. The Buckeyes are 2-3 SU and 1-4 ATS in their last five at home against the Spartans, but it would be a massive upset if Ohio State were to lose for the first time this season at home, and they’ve won 18 in a row overall at “The Schott”. This edition of the Michigan State Spartans aren’t as tough as their predecessors, which means they’re going to have a hard time controlling Sullinger, arguably the best big man in the country, and if you send more defenders at him, the Buckeyes’ three-point shooters will find more space. This could end up getting ugly, so take the Ohio State Buckeyes in your sports betting book.
