Week 6 is almost in the books and unlike a number of previous weeks, offensive performances were few and far between. There were some terrific outings this week and there were some seriously Sub-par ones.

Enjoy Dave B`s Week 6 version of Studs and Duds.

Stud of the Week:

Ahmad Bradshaw – NY Giants – Bradshaw was absolutely enormous on Sunday and is a worthy Stud of the Week. Against Buffalo Bradshaw’s 130 combined yards and three touchdowns were enough to guide his team to a much needed win.

Other Studs:

QBs

Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers – Rodgers did most of his damage in the first half of his game and then like a true Stud, he put it in neutral and coasted to 310 yards passing and another three touchdowns. Rodgers is absolutely incredible and is as big a Stud as there is in the NFL.

Josh Freeman – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Freeman has been bad so far this season but when it mattered most, he Studded up and threw for 303 yards, two scores and ZERO interceptions in an impressive win over New Orleans.

Michael Vick – Philadelphia Eagles – Vick took some heavy shots on Sunday but hung in there and guided his team to one of the most important victories for any team this season. Vick threw for 237 yards and a touchdown while adding 54 yards on the ground on 7 carries. Vick finally looked like a Stud in Week 6!

RBs

Michael Turner – Atlanta Falcons – Turner was an absolute beast in Week 6. He rumbled for 139 yards and two touchdowns to help Atlanta beat a pesky Carolina team.

Rashard Mendenhall – Pittsburgh Steelers – Where has this Rashard been all season? On Sunday, Mendenhall returned from injury and posted 146 yards rushing and a touchdown in a truly Stud performance.

Frank Gore – San Francisco 49ers – Gore was THE reason that the upstart 49ers beat the previously unbeaten Lions in Detroit. He ran for 141 yards and a touchdown for his 3rd straight 100+ yard performance -Stud!

Fred Jackson – Buffalo Bills – What else is new? Jackson had 168 yards combined and a touchdown in Week 6. He is a Stud’s Stud!

Honourable Mention: LeSean McCoy, Ray Rice

WRs

Marques Colston – New Orleans Saints – Welcome back to the Stud Column Mr. Colston – it’s been too long! On Sunday, Colston caught 7 passes for 118 yards and a score to become one of very few WR Studs in Week 6.

Jimmy Graham – New Orleans Saints – There is no Hotter Tight End in the game – Graham keeps getting it done. It’s time to recognize Graham as a Weekly Stud! On Sunday he had 7 grabs for 124 yards.

Anquan Boldin – Baltimore Ravens – Boldin hasn’t been all that impressive so far this season but on Sunday his effort was good enough for the Stud List. He had 8 catches for 132 yards in a win over Houston.

Honourable Mention: Jeremy Maclin

Dud of the Week:

Rex Grossman – Washington Redskins – Grossman was brutal on Sunday and his play may have taken all of the air out of the Redskins sails. He went 9 of 22 for 149 yards, ZERO touchdowns and four interceptions against a very vulnerable Philadelphia defense. Grossman was yanked after 3 quarters and was an easy choice for Dud of the Week.

Adrian Peterson – Minnesota Vikings – I know it wasn’t all your fault but there is absolutely no denying that on Sunday night, you were a Dud! 12 carries, 39 yards and a score wasn’t good enough my friend!

Other Duds:

QBs

Matt Ryan – Atlanta Falcons – The Falcons won their game in Week 6 but it was no thanks to Mr. Ryan. In what was supposed to be a QB shootout, Ryan only managed 163 yards passing and one touchdown – Dud! [ad-8469823]

Ben Roethlisberger – Pittsburgh Steelers – After last week`s 5 touchdown passes a lot was expected from Big Ben this week. 200 yards passing and only one touchdown unfortunately has the Big Guy on the Dud list this week.

Eli Manning – New York Giants – Manning passed for OK yardage (292) but failed to throw a single touchdown on Sunday. A goose egg is an automatic Dud!

RBs

Ryan Torain – Washington Redskins – Ick! Nothing went right for Washington. Torain actually led the Skins in touches and yards rushing on Sunday – 10 carries for a whopping 22 yards – complete Dud!

DeAngelo Williams – Carolina Panthers – Williams is getting into Fantasy Bust territory. He was a Dud again in Week 6 rushing for just 22 yards on 12 carries. Jonathan Stewart is by far the more productive back in Carolina for sure.

WRs

Roddy White – Atlanta Falcons – White was supposed to be the huge beneficiary of Julio Jones` injury but delivered a Dud performance instead of stepping up. He caught just two passes for 21 yards on Sunday and nearly became Dud of the Week.

Victor Cruz – New York Giants – A lot of people started Cruz this week after his incredible three week run. How did he reward his owners? 2 catches for 12 yards – BRUTAL!

Vernon Davis – San Francisco 49ers – 2 catches for 5 yards has Davis a worthy addition to the Dud list this week.
